Dome lids are ideal for takeaway smoothies and bubble tea or beverages that are a bit extra and may or may not feature whipped cream. These lids are made from the Ingeo™ brand of polylactic acid (PLA)—produced from renewable feedstocks such as corn, cassava, sugar cane or beets, offering an alternative to fossil-fuel plastic products. Our 96mm clear dome lids offer a secure fit for our clear cups ranging between 360ml to 700ml, which you can pair with our large and jumbo paper straws.

Shelf life: Our bioplastic products have a 12-month shelf life from date of purchase. Store bioplastics out of direct sunlight and below 35°C. Incorrect storage reduces product stability and shelf life.

End of Life
Clear EcoCups and lids are certified compostable, so when disposed of in industrial compost facilities with specific environmental conditions, the product will disintegrate after 12 weeks and completely biodegrade after six months, meaning that 90 per cent or more of the material will have been converted to carbon dioxide, the remaining materials are biotransformed into other natural substances such as biomass, water, and to be used in agriculture (humus/fertiliser).
